Key Skills for Ambitious Projects
Enguerrand achieved the Databricks Data Analyst Associate and Databricks Data Engineer Associate certifications. Today, Databricks is a leading platform for large-scale data processing and analysis. These certifications strengthen his expertise in designing robust data architectures and optimizing analytical workflows.
Enguerrand: “Everything moves fast in IT, and data is no exception. I’ve worked with a variety of tools during my projects, and Databricks stood out for its power, versatility, and completeness. I wanted to dive deeper into this tool, which is increasingly used in modern data architectures. Beyond hands-on experience, this was an opportunity to reinforce my theoretical knowledge of the platform to better understand its inner workings and challenges.”
Nicolas and Thomas, meanwhile, earned the Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification, enhancing their ability to transform complex data into clear, impactful visualizations.
Thomas: “When I joined Winston two years ago, I had no experience with Power BI. My programming skills and the technically demanding projects I worked on allowed me to quickly master this tool in depth. Wanting to benchmark my level against Microsoft standards, I took the certification exam. It made me realize the degree of expertise developed at Winston: the certification assesses Power BI fundamentals, which I easily validated thanks to the richness of the projects I’ve had the chance to work on.”
Nicolas: “As a child, I loved building with LEGO bricks—starting from small pieces to create something bigger. Earning the Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer certification gave me the same feeling: each tool is like a brick, and Microsoft Fabric brings them all together in a unified structure. With a solid foundation in SQL, Power BI, and a wide range of ETL/ELT tools, adapting to this platform came naturally, paving the way for more integrated and efficient data management solutions.”
